Last weeks here.

So to start off I think we need to remember all the good things that have happened and the things we have learned about ourselves or things that we want to just continue to implement in our lives.

That’s what we did the last time we went somewhere for preaching and we found plenty of gems from the experience.

  1. Take into consideration people’s backgrounds
  2. There’s still places that need to be preached to
  3. We do not want to take for granted of how Jehovah trains his people to be organized and clean
  4. Cherish Vegetables
  5. Hobbies are good for the soul
  6. Do not try to change things, just support
  7. Find the funny in the situation
  8. Just because we think it, doesn’t mean it’s true
  9. It’s okay to help start something and let someone else finish. Jesus did.
  10. What we give is enough for Jehovah.

We have gotten to start Bible studies with kids who just visited the meeting with their Grandma who studied before, have return visits come to the meeting, we got to see turtles lay eggs, we got to help with a project at bethel, got to attend the Family night, met some really amazing people, got to see another country while here too (French Guyana), and the list could go on and on.

So May got really busy for us as we were commuting 3 days a week. Then that particular project was finished, so we went down to 1 day a week. And the rain would still affect our ministry. And not just the ministry, but also our own sanity was affected because we couldn’t go anywhere. The roads flood. There’s no side walks to begin with. We are only here temporarily so do we get the gym pass? Do we start buying hobby items even though they are expensive here? Do we decorate when we know we aren’t staying in this apartment? No.

We do know if we want to come back here we are going to need hobbies, and gym passes, and things to make us feel more at home and comfortable and healthy. If we want to last longer we will need this. So then the question lies: are we going to come back??

Jehovah willing, we want to go the Guyana for a special preaching campaign. And we will see where He leads us after that…

But for now we are packing up, saying our goodbyes, and off to the Poland international convention! ✈️
