So for a whole year we have been talking about our 15th wedding anniversary and where we would spend it…hopefully out of the states!

We never suspected we would be spending it in South America, let alone Suriname!!

A delightful surprise for sure.

It was a nice and wild few days.

But the best part always comes from Jehovah. It seemed like we were there for a reason when our tour group wanted to talk about cultures, religion, politics…we weren’t expecting to have really good conversations and to invite our tour guide to the meeting to hear Seb’s talk. The other couple are going back to the Netherlands soon, and I let them know about the international convention happening in Aug and that they were invited to attend. Praying for more follow up on that!

Sunday is a cherry on top. Our Bible students came to meeting! Man, shout out to parents…it’s really hard to pay attention at meetings 😅 They commented and even started cleaning after the meeting. 🥹

We were invited to another couple’s home for lunch—roti 🧡

It was an actual sunny day no rain so perfect for going on a walk in the evening. That’s when we see our neighbor (a JW brother) talking to another neighbor young guy. He waved us over and we stayed talking with him and his girlfriend for awhile. They are so sweet and just talking to each other about wanting to go to church…then we all came! 💕 They might go to meeting with us next week🙏

When I say the ministry is too easy here….😂
